ጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ አሕመድ ዛሬ ከሰዓት መሰረታቸውን ኦሮሚያና አማራ ብሔራዊ ክልሎች ላይ ካደረጉ የተፎካካሪ ፖለቲካ ድርጅት አመራሮች ጋር ዉይይት አካሂደዋል።
ዉይይቱ የተካሄደው በሁለቱ ክልሎች ህልፈተ-ሕይወት እና የንብረት መውደም የሚያስከትሉ ሁኔታዎች መባባሳቸውን ተከትሎ ሲሆን በሁለቱ ክልሎች በዋናነት እንቅስቃሴ እያካሄዱ የሚገኙ ፓርቲዎች የሕዝቡን ፍላጎት እና የነግህ አቅጣጫ ቅየሳ እውን ማድረግ ይችሉ ዘንድ ውይይት ለማስጀመር የታለመ ነው።
ጠ/ሚር ዐቢይ በዜጎች ላይ አንዳችም ዓይነት ጉዳት ሳያስከትሉ ፖለቲካዊ ተሳትፎን የማካሄድን አስፈላጊነት አንስተው፣ የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎቹ መሪዎች ሥራቸውን በሚከውኑበት ክልል ሰላምን እና መረጋጋትን ለማስፈን የበኩላቸውን አስተዋጾ እንዲያደርጉ ጠይቀዋል።
የዛሬው ስብሰባ ባለፉት ሳምንታት በሁለቱም ክልሎች ከሚገኙ ቁልፍ ባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር የተካሄዱት ስብሰባዎች አንድ አካል ነው።

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed convened a meeting with leaders of competing political parties operating in the Oromia and Amhara Regional States this afternoon. The meeting is organized following events that have increasingly led to the loss of lives and destruction of property in both regions. It is aimed at facilitating dialogue among political parties active in the two regions towards developing a common agenda in service to the needs and aspirations of the people.
Prime Minister Abiy emphasized the importance of engaging politically without causing harm to citizens and called upon leaders of the political parties to play their role in stabilizing and bringing peace to the respective regions.
Today’s meeting follows a series of meetings that have been held over the past weeks with other key stakeholders operating in both regions.
