Ato Shimelis Abdisa is currently the Deputy President of the Oromia regional state. Ato Shimelis previously worked as head of the prime minister office after the current Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) received the office from Ato Hailemariam Desalegn. Ato ShImelis’s name was repeatedly mentioned last week about his two different speeches about the current issue in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church.
