Large numbers of Federal Police officers have been deployed in Horo Gudru zone of Western Ethiopia as part of the government’s campaign to combat record-setting homicide rates by armed OLF ‘Shene’ group.
Federal Police Commissioner General Demelash Gebermichael said the federal police officers would work together with the zone’s police force and militia to curb the unfolding violence and targeted attacks. Video:
