The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is threatening to cancel licenses of additional ten political parties for failing to authenticate signatures of at least 50 percent of their founding members.
NEBE Public Relations Advisor Soliyana Shimeles said majority of the over 100 political parties have failed to come up with the minimum number of signatories to be considered as political parties and hence lost their legitimacy. Video:
