Ethiopian army took action against bandits involved in fresh ethnic-based attacks in Benishangul-Gumuz Regional State, killing 42 of them, the State’s Communication Bureau Head Melese Beyene has said.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said he was sending more troops in an offensive against the unidentified bandits who killed more than 100 people on Wednesday in Bulen district of Metekel Zone. Video:
