Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice is a newly organized coalition of opposition parties founded on May 9, 2019. The party is well known for its citizen-based politics and social justice while respecting individual rights and equal opportunities. Professor Birhanu Nega of the former Ginbot 7, who used to prefer armed struggle to withdraw EPRDF from power, is the leader this party along with so many well-known politicians such as Ato Yeshiwas Assefa of the former Semayawi (Blue) party, Ato Andualem Aragie of the former Unity for justice and democracy parties.
Professor Birhanu appeared in an interview with journalist Sisay Agena on ESAT to discuss issues regarding the ongoing political change in Ethiopia and gave a detailed explanation of his party’s stand on different issues.
