Areas around the administrative center of the Oromo zone in the Amhara regional state as well as in north Shoa zone have been in tension following security mishaps along the border. Reports are showing property damages, injuries and lives lost. The situations seem to get worse by the minute. After assessing the concerns, the National Security Council of Ethiopia has ordered federal and regional authorities to take the proper measure to contain the situation and restore stability in the areas.
