The group of workers shot by gunmen in Oromo region earlier this week included a Japanese and Indian national.
The Japanese Embassy in Ethiopia confirmed this on Thursday. Five workers were killed in the attack by unknown gunmen. The other victims were reportedly three Ethiopians and one Indian. However, the Indian Embassy has not made any announcement on the issue.
