About five employees of a mining company in the Oromia region have been killed in an attack on Tuesday. Two of the casualties are reportedly foreign nationals. However, their countries have not been named.
The attack happened around Nedjo town located about 500km from Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa. According to Fana Broadcasting, the attack happened early on Tuesday morning.
The identities of the attackers and their intention remain unknown. Authorities have not also revealed the name of the mining company that was attacked.
