Three Ethiopian nationals have been arrested in the Gash Barka region of Eritrea. The Ethiopians, who come from the Tigray region, were arrested on Thursday.
They were reportedly arrested after entering Eritrea through the Omhajer-Humera border. Eritrean officials reportedly found the three Ethiopians with over $4,000. The suspects allegedly had the money “for a purpose of deception.”
