Ethiopian police have arrested about 32 people in connection with telecom fraud.
On Sunday, Police officials announced that the suspects were arrested over the course of six months. The suspects used modems and other devices to fraud Ethio Telecom.
Police say the fraudulent practices cost Ethio Telecom and the country around 30 million birr ($1.1 million).
