Ethiopia and Eritrea are set to sign an agreement that will formalize peaceful relations between both countries.
The Prime Minister of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed and the President of Eritrea Isaias Afwerki will sign several agreements to establish economic, trade and other ties between the two neighboring nations, according to Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Eritrea, Redwan Hussein.
“After Ethiopia and Eritrea endorsed the agreements by their legislative organs, they would establish a joint commission that supervises the execution of accords in such a way ensuring the mutual benefit of people of the two countries and putting the rapprochement on a solid base,” Ambassador Redwan said.
