Activist Seyoum Teshome posted on Ethio Think Tank Group and his Facebook page detailing a supposed payment from Tigray Regional Administration and Endowment Fund for the Rehabilitation of Tigray (EFFORT) through Mbirr It Services to former spy chief Getachew Assefa, Abay Tsehaye and Sebhat Nega. Seyoum shared an email attachment showing the transaction. Mereja TV reached out to Mbirr main office. Even though both the communication head Eyerusalem Hadgu and Marketing Head Ethan Laub refused to give a statement on the record, the office sent us the original scan of the letter warning Seyoum to take down the statement and publish a retraction. Mbirr also wrote in the letter as to why they claim the article is false.
