Judges in Ethiopia have agreed that the identities of witnesses in a high-profile case should be kept hidden. Judges at the Federal High Couth 4th Criminal Bench in Addis Ababa accepted a request from prosecutors to withhold a list containing the names of witnesses in the case against Abdi Muhamud Omer, the former President of the Somali regional state.
Federal prosecutors argue that the names of the witnesses must remain hidden to protect their lives.
