Bulcha Demekesa has been a politician in Ethiopia for a very long time. Ato Bulch even served as Deputy Minister of Ministry of Finance during Emperor Haile Selassie reign. He is also the founder of the Oromo Federalist Democratic Movement (OFDM).
In his recent interview with BBC, Ato Bulcha announced his plans to run independently for a parliament seat in the national election next year. He said he has high hopes for a better condition in the parliament compared to his previous experience. He also weighed on the different views of Ethiopia and Oromia.
