The Ethiopian government is set to launch the Debre Birhan industrial park.
According to Lelise Neme, CEO of Ethiopia Industrial Park Development Corporation (IPDC), the park covers about 75 hectares of land.
The Debre Birhan industrial park, which was constructed by China Communication Construction Company (CCCC) for up to $71 million, is expected to create jobs for about 1,000 people.
Apart from the Debre Birhan industrial park, Ethiopia plans to launch five industrial parks before the end of the 2018/19 fiscal year. The government has invested about $1.3bn in the construction of about a dozen industrial parks. [….] CONTINUE READING
