Bereket Simon, a former senior official of the Ethiopian government and a leading figure in Ethiopian politics over the past 3 decades, has been arrested by the Federal Police in Addis Ababa, according to EBC and Nahoo TV. Tadesse Kassa, another former senior official, has also been arrested this morning.
