Bule Hora University Amhara students held a demonstration yesterday in Bahir Dar. The students left Bule Hora University and took shelter in Bahir Dar Stadium after an ethnic clash in the campus. However, yesterday’s demonstration escalated, and the protestors damaged public and private properties. Bahir Dar Mayor Muluken Ayehu released a statement yesterday warning the students to leave the city if they don’t accept the hospitality of the city. Mereja TV interviewed Ato Muluken, and he said unknown groups were behind yesterday’s violent demonstration.
