A bus accident in Oromia region claimed the lives of 17 people on Monday.
The 45-seater bus, which was reportedly traveling from Shambu to Nekemte, veered off the road before turning over. It is currently unclear what caused the accident.
However, reports indicate there were some mechanical issues with the bus. Officials also say the bus was carrying too many passengers way beyond its capability.
