Dr. Hirut Kassaw attended the 13th Ethiopian International Film Festival as the guest of honor. In her inaugural speech, she acknowledged both the film and music industry for their performance despite the lack of support from respective organizations. She also expressed her wish for Ethiopia to become to the center for art.
