Despite the Amhara police’s continuous efforts to control possession of illegal firearms, it hasn’t slowed down. Bahir Dar City Police confiscated four hundred ninety-eight guns in Commander Wubetu Shiferaw’s residence today. This is the highest number of illegal guns seized in the region. The government allowed seventeen days until enforcing the gun possession proclamation.
