Activist Menegistu Zegeye threw accusations at National Movement of Amhara (NAMA) members last Saturday. In his interview with Mereja TV, he said that he was assaulted by NAMA members in Dessie. Mereja TV wasn’t able to contact any NAMA officials at the time. However, we managed a phone interview with NAMA’s PR Head Christian Tadele today. According to Ato Christian, the party has no knowledge of the alleged attack and the accusations are false.
