Chinese industrial parks in Ethiopia are expected to contribute to the industrialization of the country and create hundreds of jobs.
On December 8, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed oversaw the inauguration of the Jimma Industrial Park. Ethiopia’s Industrial Parks Development Corporation estimates that the park will create up to 12,000 jobs once it is fully operational.
