Ethiopia’s Minister of Mines and Petroleum Dr. Kong Tutlam has revealed that the country is set to auction its crude oil reserve in the Legehida and Were Ilu weredas of Amhara region.
According to Dr. Kong, negotiations are ongoing with a company already. The crude oil reserve was discovered by Britain’s Falcon Petroleum. However, the company failed to raise funds to start production.
