The Saudi government has refused the handing over of two murder suspects of Khashoggi to Turkey. Following arrest warrants that were issued in a Turkish court for the murder suspects, Abdel al-Jubeir, Foreign Affairs Minister of Saudi Arabia told journalists that they are not going to extradite their citizens. Turkey has repeatedly announced that former Saudi intelligence chief Ahmad al-Assiri and former royal adviser Saud al-Qahtani were involved in the killing of the journalist. The journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was famous for criticizing the government led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was brutally murdered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. The journalist was famous for writing for various Saudi news organizations and also for the Washington Post. The minister announced that 11 people, who are suspected to have been involved in the murder of Khashoggi, are under arrest.
