On 17 June 2019 Quartz Africa reported that ZayRide, Ethiopia’s first e-hailing taxi service launched in Addis Ababa in July 2016, planned to expand into the Liberian capital as it scaled beyond Ethiopian streets.
The story presented the Liberia move as an early African export of an Ethiopian consumer-tech firm rather than as a domestic transport update alone.
