On 15 June 2019 New Business Ethiopia reported that the World Bank Group announced a $500 million grant to Ethiopia for Climate Action through Landscape Management, a programme meant to support environmental and land-management work.
The financing note presented the grant as development support for climate and landscape goals rather than as ordinary budget aid, and it matched other mid-June coverage of the same package.
