On 10 June 2019 Tadias Magazine published Liben Eabisa’s opinion essay asking whether anonymous contributors on Ethiopian diaspora websites should still follow core journalism habits such as transparency, sourcing facts, and giving named people a chance to respond.
The piece said pen names were common on diaspora sites and argued that true anonymity is hard in the digital age, while pressing the ethical question of how unsigned political commentary that shapes Ethiopian debates abroad should be judged against ordinary reporting standards.
Kept as press and media-ethics archive, the Tadias essay dates a diaspora debate about anonymous blogging and journalism standards in June 2019.
