On 6 June 2019 ReliefWeb carried UNHCR’s bi-weekly Ethiopia operational update for 16–31 May 2019, which summarized work with UNICEF and the International Rescue Committee to strengthen water supply for refugees in Benishangul-Gumuz, including camps such as Gure-Shembola, Bambasi, Tongo, and Tsore.
The same update noted a joint UNHCR–UNICEF social-protection assessment mission to Jijiga in the Somali Region, which was meant to see how community care systems could better reach refugees and host communities.
