Ethiopia is considering placing a visa ban on US officials in reaction to the latest visa restriction by Washington on Ethiopian officials involved in the Tigray conflict.
The planned visa restrictions by Ethiopia will also be placed on those US citizens travelling to Ethiopia for different activities; an international media quoted an Ethiopian official as saying on condition of anonymity.
The government is conducting a study on the way forward to impose the sanction, according to the official.
