Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has announced this morning that he has given the military to take action against the ruling party in Tigray Region, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). The Prime Minister stated that he was forced to take action after TPLF attacked an Ethiopian military base in Tigray. Video of the PM’s statement:
