Don’t touch my Ethiopia – Musa Adem

Ato Musa Adem is a politician and political science and international relations lecturer at the University of Jigjiga. Ato Musa spoke about the balance between ethnic and national identity. According to him, is no one can take away someone’s ethnic identity from anybody as it is a natural phenomenon. But citizenship could be changed due to several reasons. Ato Musa is also known for his usual speech which states take my ethnicity but don’t touch my nationality. The politician urged that the Ethiopian landscape is very wide to accommodate all Ethiopians but we need peace and love and need to learn how to live together.
