Ethiopia’s youthful population is an incredible asset and untapped resource for positive growth. Ethiopia’s population, estimated at 104 million, 41 percent is under the age of 15. More than 28 percent of the population is in the age range 15 to 29. Ethiopia’s youth has the potential to play a significant role in the country’s socio-economic and political development. The young generation, therefore, must be equipped not only with modern technology and education but also, a national mindset free from all those old chaotic tales. In this context, Author Taye Bogale remarked the indispensable role of the Ethiopian youth when he attended the birthday of Emperor Menelik and Empress Tayitu at Angolela, Northern Shewa.
