The ruling party of EPRDF was led by TPLF for twenty-seven years until outcasted a year ago by the change and reform movement led by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Consequently, Tigray region officials have been expressing dissatisfaction with the government of Abiy Ahmed ever since. Even though the ruling party still consolidates four parties including TPLF, fragments exist within which yielded continual political conflicts among members. in the meantime, the President of Tigray region Dr. Debretsion commented on Ethiopia’s overall political situation.
