Dr. Sisay Mengiste attended a discussion panel organized at Getfam Hotel in Addis Abab and delivered a keynote speech on Ethiopia’s federalism system and political parties participation throughout the years. The legal expert and federalist expert discussed how Ethiopian politics has grown out of shape and democracy have degraded. He also discussed how the Ethiopian constitution favors ethnic politics more than nationality politics. In addition, he noted how the constitution needs revising as many countries who practice federalism have done so.
