PM Abiy Ahmed’s report to the Parliament

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appeared in parliament on June 1, 2019, to present a report on the closing Ethiopian fiscal year. his appearance succeeds the attempted coup d’etat in Bahir Dar and Addis Ababa that left five officials dead among the multiple deaths reported. During his presentation, PM Abiy discussed the coup d’etat and measures taken to restore peace, additional measures to ensure security in the country, reforms on institutions security and intelligence, courts, elections board, federal police, and prison administration, internal displacement in the country and the governments countermeasures to reduce and arrest those who are responsible, foreign relations and the economy.
