Addis Ababa Baladera Council is working to ensure the proper representation of the city it represents. The council led by journalist and human rights advocator Eskinder Nega was established following the different ownership claims and political gambles that were inconsiderate of the resident nor reflect their concerns. The council’s establishment was not taken kindly by some and has caused for a back and forth comments. The recent remark came from Ato Addisu Arega, Head of the Office of Central Committee of Oromo Democratic Party (ODP). Elias Gebru, journalist and member of Addis Ababa Baladera Council, responded to the remarks.
