Ethiopia has ranked first in internal displacement due to the ethnic clashes waving through the country. One of the notable displacement after ethnic clashes is the displacement of thousands of Amharas from Benishangul Gumuz since 2018. There have been efforts to solve the problem but it restarted on April 30 following the strings of attack that left more than 18 people dead. Residents in different towns of Amhara held protests demanding action from the government in early May 2019. The protest has resumed yet again. This time the displaced people are asking the questions.
