We oppose the harassment of Journalist Eskinder Nega – Dr. Berhanu Nega

Journalist and human rights advocator Eskinder Nega has been making headlines following the recent run-in with Addis Ababa Police. He has been trying to hold a press conference and failed to do so at two different hotels when the security along with police banned anyone to enter the premises. In addition to Amnesty International (AI)’s protest, many professionals and individuals have spoken out against the government’s treatment of Eskinder Nega. Among those is Dr. Berhanu Nega, a prominent politician and president of Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice.
