Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a press conference with professionals in Ethiopia’s judicial system. Unlike previous times, this press conference included lawyers among the 3,000 participants. During the conference, attending professionals and other higher officials discussed issues concerning appointment of judges, gaps within the legal system, criminal laws related to corruption cases, and so on. General Attorney Berhanu Tsegaye and Supreme Court President Meaza Ashenafi attended the conference as well.
