Who is Shimelis Abdisa, the newly appointed President of Oromia Region

On Thursday, Oromo Regional Administration Council, also known as Chaffee Oromiyaa, called for an emergency meeting to appoint a new president for the region. After deliberation, the council appointed Shimeles Abdisa who has previously served in different governmental positions. Before his appointment, Ato Shimelis has been working as Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister’s Office since his appointment on November 5, 2018. He will be serving his new appointment as only Deputy Head of the Regional Administration capacity since he is not a member of the council. So who is Shimelis Abera?
