Wolisso town residents held a protest and blocked the main route from Addis Ababa to Wolisso. Schools and offices are closed down. The residents began the protest after news leaked reporting that 200 former Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) army members were poisoned. Admasu Damtew, Oromia Communication Bureau Head, reported on the current status of the soldiers. The OLF militia members joined the camp after reaching an agreement with the government and Abba Gadda.
