Senet Gizachew has become a sensation overnight after meeting with Muferiat Kamil, Minister of Ministry of Peace. The 10-year-old captured everyone’s attention preaching peace in such difficult times. She was born and raised in Western Shewa and is a fourth grader. The talented child has presented her poems in different stages. She also presented her work at the Millenium Hall on the one-year anniversary celebration of PM Abiy Ahmed’s stay in power. Unlike her previous performances, she received a big backlash for her poem that was considered racist by viewers. Senet gave a response to the comments as follows.
