Addis Ababa residents comment on national census

Central Statistical Agency (CSA) conducts the national census every ten years. However, the agency postponed the 2017 national census because of political instability and rising internal displacement due to ethnic clashes. On December 2018, the agency announced that the agency had invested 1.7 billion Birr (around $62 million) including the purchasing of 180,000 tablets purchase from Huawei and power banks for the census to take in mid-April. Mereja TV took the streets of Addis Ababa to gather the community’s outlook on the matter.
