Experts in France analyzing flight recorders from the Ethiopian Airlines plane that crashed last weekend have revealed that the pilot was panicking during a call to the control center.
The pilot reportedly asked for permission to return “in a panicky voice.” A spokesman for Ethiopian Airlines said the pilot was given permission to return. However, the plane crashed a few minutes later.
