Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has created a committee to solve a housing dispute that has sparked a protest in the Oromia region.
The Ethiopian leader formed a committee of eight to resolve the dispute between the Oromia Regional Administration and the Addis Ababa City Administration. The dispute began after the Addis Ababa City Administration shared 51,229 condominium houses to several residents. Some of the houses are outside of the city’s limits. The protesters in the Oromia region are opposed to this.
