Following the 123rd Adwa Victory anniversary celebration at Menelik square, a concert was organized at Meskel square in the afternoon. The concert celebrated what Adwa means to Ethiopians, and many artists and singers like Mohammed Ahmed, Hachalu Hundessa, and Tadele Roba performed on stage. The celebration that continued from Menelik Square, however, hit a bump as participants carrying Ethiopian flag got into a dispute with police. The dispute grew when the police confiscated the Ethiopian flag ironically but let other participants carry OLF’s flag.
