Ethiopian authorities are working to clamp down on tax evasions and fraudulent activities. Officials have started arresting individuals and organizations involved in tax fraud and tax evasion.
The Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently released a statement saying more than 100 suspects have been apprehended. Mrs. Adanir Abebe said that about 64 of the 105 people arrested for tax evasion and fraud are currently in court.
