The conflict in the Amhara region has been going on for months. The conflict rose to another level when a village in Central Gondar had a fire accident. In the press release by Amhara Communication Affairs Office yesterday, Director Asemahegn Aseres reported multiple property damages and many people are wounded and displaced due to the fire. According to Ato Asemahegn, authorities couldn’t stop the conflict due to an attack from an unidentified group.
