The US Embassy in Ethiopia has launched a debate program called ‘Ethiopia Debates’ for university students in the country.
Ethiopia Debates is a platform for Ethiopian students to interact and develop their public speaking skills. The program also seeks to create an avenue for Ethiopian university students to learn debate techniques and constructive dialogue.
The program will be spread through a series of debates and will last for 12 months. It will also be incorporated into the national debate competition.
